Say Thanks to Your Physician

March 30 is the day set aside to recognize physicians across the United States. National Doctor's Day celebrates extraordinary people who devote their lives to the health of others.

Jackson Hospital Foundation invites you to share your appreciation this year by making a contribution in honor if an exceptional doctor. A special card will be presented to the honoree. Your gift will help the foundation fund ten $1,000 scholarships that will be awarded to Montgomery area high school seniors who are planning careers in the medical field.

Morning and Afternoon Flights

The 6th annual Swinging FORE Healthcare tournament at Wynlakes Country Club was a huge success. Thanks to the corporate sponsors, donors and golfers, the tournament raised more than $110,000 to support the Foundation.

The Jackson Hospital Foundation’s fourth Midtown Gets Down event welcomed nearly 300 guests to terrific New Orleans-inspired specialties from Roux restaurant. Guests danced the brisk evening away to The Tyrone Smith Revue featuring Super T!

Remember a loved one or honor someone special during the holiday season by purchasing a light on the Jackson Hospital Lights of Love tree.

For each contribution of $15, a symbolic light will be placed on the tree. A generous gift of $100 or more will purchase a miniature Moravian star. for a donation of $500 or more, an honoree will be remembered as an angel.

Proceeds from this year's event will benefit the hospital's intensive care units. Improvements will provide more comfortable waiting areas for families of our most critical patients.

A tree lighting ceremony will be hosted on Thursday, December 8, and the towering tree will remain lit in the hospital's lobby throughout the season.
